As well as fast sailing and a great regatta experience, the Aphrod5te 101 also offers the comfort you need below deck for family sailing.
Saloon
The saloon contains cosy corner seating arranged around a detachable, combined cabin and cockpit table. The comfortable seating options with their cushioned backrests offer enough sleeping space even for larger people. The aft side houses two additional, large quarter-berths which are easily accessed from the saloon.
Pantry
The pantry consists of a stainless steel sink with sufficient stowing space above and below for crockery, glasses etc., as well as a semi-gimballed, two-flame spirit cooker with cover. The fresh water for the sink comes from a water tank with a capacity of 30 litres, and the wastewater is disposed of via a 10-litre wastewater canister which is installed underneath the sink.
Forward quarter
The forward quarter with its V-shaped double cabin offers comfortable sleeping space for two sailors. They are accessed from the saloon via a small passageway, which contains further storage space for sailing clothing etc. The porta potti is stowed away out of sight underneath the forward quarter cushions. The entire forward quarter area, including the passageway, is separated from the saloon by a curtain.
Materials
Following tradition, the main material used below deck is wood. The floorboards are teak, while the hull sides in the saloon are covered with mahogany strips. The "swallows' nests" behind the saloon berths are also made of mahogany, as is all the fitted furniture. The entire cabin roof is covered inside with white artificial leather and mahogany strips, while the side walls in the forward quarter and on the quarter-berths are covered in white vinyl.
